    Charity Football Match

This Saturday I'm taking part in a Charity football match at Riccarton Training Center in memory of my good pall Ross Graham who we lost this year in a horrible car accident. Read about that here...

Basically, when I was younger, every sunday saw me whap out the skills at Westburn primary School for the Sighthill v Calder derby. Just a bunch of young guys playing football in what was a very fierce rivalry. So we've brought it back... Gates open at 1.30pm. Kick Off 2.15 pm to raise money for Ross' Kids, Christina, Demi and Cali.

It would be nice to see as many people as possible to come along and support us as well as donating what you can to help.

There will be buckets at the main gates, Raffle, and signed Hibs & gunts top plus much more up for grabs.

Come along wearing green or maroon to show your support. P.S. Sighthill play in green.

Thanks to the admin team for letting me post this up.

I tried to upload stuff that Paddy and Michael fae St. Pat's sent me but being a total technophobe couldnae. I would add to what the lads have said that anyone who can make this on Saturday should. The laddie was a diehard Hibby and any dough will go to his partner and bairn.

What a cracking day for it. Perfect excuse to get to riccarton and warm up those vocal chords. Come support the boys in green with your hibs flags and scarves.

A really good day and a great effort from the organisers. I only found out about the game when it was announced at half time last week. I used to work beside Ross grandad at First Scotrail before he retired and started collecting last Monday. Our head office agreed to donate 250 and we collected a further 300 from the staff at Haymarket depot. A head count of about 200 at the game today and although not a good result for the greens, well done to all.
