Patrick Cregg

Cregg follows Hughes to Easter Road
Hibs have confirmed the capture of former Arsenal player Patrick Cregg from Falkirk.
The tenacious midfielder has followed manager John Hughes to Easter Road and the former Ireland under 21 player is relishing the chance of working with his former gaffer once more.
Cregg told the official website www.hibs.co.uk “I loved working with the gaffer at Falkirk, so to be joining him at a Club the size of Hibernian is a great opportunity for me. I’m very excited about pre-season and can’t wait to start work at the training centre this week with the rest of the boys.”
Manager Hughes couldn’t resist bringing one of his former players to Easter Road and said Patrick loves getting on the ball and has loads of energy, he’s just the sort of player I want at the Club. He has his best years in front of him and will thrive on the big stage at Easter Road.”
It is believed Cregg has signed a one year deal at the club with the option of a further year although the contract details will be fully disclosed at a press conference next week.
Cregg is expected to be joined at the press conference with another former Falkirk player with goalkeeper Dani Mallo likely to be confirmed as John Hughes second signing later this week.
