Matters arising from last minutes – Joe Baker memorial fund
Action – Vini to try and find what if anything has happened or if it has been scrapped in view of the “gate” naming at ER. Also to investigate whether it might something which we could do ourselves.
Action – Bill to speak to Dermot at the Hibernian Historical Trust to see if it's something they may be interested in.



Travel – Since the only viable games to run a bus were Aberdeen away 4/10/08 and Dundee Utd. Away 4/4/09, since all other away games are easily reached from Glasgow via public transport. It was decided to try and find an alternative to organising buses. The consensus was to try and arrange meeting up to travel by train and nominate a pub at the away destination to meet up with those travelling by alternate means. Suggestions or agreement on a postcard or email even are required for pubs at the following:-

Aberdeen – Wetherspoons on Union St.
Hamilton –
Ibrox –
Kilmarnock –
Motherwell – New Century
Paisley – Wig and Pen
Parkhead – Crown Creighton

Action – Bill to contact Kenny H regarding a possible pub in Hamilton 20/9/08 and also to see if anyone is interested in the friends deal on the train to Aberdeen 4/10/08 (our next two away games)

AOCB – Christmas do proposed date would be the 20/12/08 after we beat the huns at Ibrox was suggested, but the actual event is still open for debate/suggestion.

Bill received an email from Tony Hickey who claimed to have made badges for the R.O.I. and N.I. Hibs branches offering us the same service. 50 badges @ £1.50
Action – Vini to find out if this was the guy who did those badges and to find out if the offer still stood.
