FOA original Glasgow members/Dalmeny goers

As the board seems a little bit quiet thought id post this for a bit of action on the board.

After the smeltic game i ended up diving into the dalmeny bar on leith walk for a couple of pint before heading up for a train, apparently members of the old glasgow branch met in here years ago, just wondering on thought on it and if it was a bit of an old mans pub as it seems to be now?

Aye the Dalmeny sponsored the Glasgow Gossip fanzine with "drink at daft Bert's" emblazoned across it. Bert being the ex-para landlord. Para as in red beret, not drunk.

Some mental days in there. It's even rumoured that a Glasgow Hibby once went to the bar very very drunk and accidentally broke into a mad sideways run which took him clean through the doors which were jammed open and onto the Leith Walk pavement.

What a sight that must've been for the Saturday shoppers returning home at 6pm on a lovely sunny day in April as a voddy-fuelled nutter with big bambi legs comes randomly flying out a pub before sliding along the pavement to a stop.
