At Thursday's Meeting we mentioned the possibility of running a bus to Tynecastle for the CIS game on 31st January. This would be a "bare bones" job, ie. leaving Glasgow around 5pm and returning straight after the game. Can anyone who would be interested please add their names below?

Also, look out for an e-mail over the next day or two about resurrecting the Branch Ticket Pool for this game (and others).

If I can get a ticket for the game I might be interested. Another option is the group saver ticket on the train (works out about £4.50 return), but it would be cutting it fine to get to the ground from Haymarket Station in time for kick-off due to the fact the ticket is only available on off-peak services (the first off-peak service in the evening being at 18.30). Unless folk are able to finish work early and get a train through before 16.45, which would allow for a bit of drinking time...

Previous departures have generally been from the Station Bar, Cowcaddens due to it's proximity to the M8. Handy for a late afternoon swally too ...

We agreed to take a "hit" on the bus, just to make sure it was a go-er.
I think we agreed as much as £100.
May be academic as the number still hasn't reached the minimum required

My dad has taken a bit ill so would be 50/50 on the bus and going at all. Keep me on there for now but I should be along on Thursday and be able to say either way then.

Just back from the Branch Meeting folks.

I'm afraid it's bad news on the bus front.
With only 8 definite names, it is going to be way too expensive to run a bus.
I had hoped to keep cost to £7 per head, maximum.
However, even if I took £10, the loss would still be outside acceptable limits.

Apologies to those who did support the venture, and I hope it doesn't leave anyone struggling to get to the game.
