I think I can see where you are going with this Jimmy, but is there any harm in letting the Westies pages continue? Or, is there pressure to free up some space. I can think of some other ways of doing that if that's the case.

i think you've misunderstood me bill. i was trying to entice the 'lookers' who read but don't post. one day there was 28 guests reading this page. if we picked up just one extra member from the 28, then it'd have been worth asking don't you think?
i'd like to hear your idea for freeing up space.

Sorry Jimmy, I thought you were back on your "close the Westies' Board (should've called it the Weedgie Board)" soapbox.

You're right, no harm in enticing new members, might even get a new Secretary among them! However, I expect that most of the browsers are "regular" Hibbies, peeking in from other parts of the Bounce.

Save space, simple, ban smilies, pics in signatures (too many one line posts with 30 line sigs., particularly on the main board)and delete all messages before a given date. Easy really.

I post on the bounce fairly regularly, but I'm not in the Supporter's club so don't know you guys. Maybe I'm the one you're looking for!

I actually requested an application form last season but work commitments made it a waste of time. Could I join at the next meeting? I've now got a ST but getting bored going on ma own.

I browse on this part of the site regularly but have never previously posted. As Bill and Kevin (and possibly a couple of others who I know but don't recognise from their usernames) know I used to be in the Glasgow Branch (91 - 95).

However, I live in Wales now which is just outside the Evening Times circulation area!
