John Kennedy Retires
Sorry if this has been posted already
BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | C | Celtic | Celtic's Kennedy forced to retire
He was a very good defender and it's a shame he is having to retire at a young age. I met him last year on a flight home from Spain, one of the nicest guys you could meet.
Hope things work out for him and he can go on to coach or something similiar in football.

Re: John Kennedy Retires
Poor lad reminds me of our very own Tom Smith. Not good for any young player and i agree he was a good player nothing went his way atall. Wish him all the best in the future.

He should be looking to sue that Romanian boy who absolutely nailed him and effectively ended his career . Disgusting challenge.

Re: John Kennedy Retires
Nae luck for the big guy. Hopefully for him his insurance was up to date!!
If Scotland hadn,t pushed yet another OF player into the Scotland team after a dozen or so decent performances, he wouldn't be in this position.
The tackle was a shocker, but nae worse than Scotlands old captain used to dish out on a regular event
