Favourite Hibs Game (Except Cup Final Wins)

Seen this thread over on dotnet, so thought ad start one here.

As it says on the tin really.

Mines are the 0-3 at Castle Greyskull in the cup followed by the 0-1 Deek game at the Bus Shelter.

The cup game for just a sheer cracking day all round and the Deek game for absolute bedlam in the away end once he tucked that penalty away.

    What's yours?

The 2-1 game at The Saville Dome when Deano scored the winner.

Killie away in the cup last season was also a brilliant day out, fantastic support too.
Seems like there's a hole in my dreams, or so it seems

    6-2.
    Easy peasy lemon squeazy.
Mrs DZOK was 8 months preggers and beside me in Terracing.
I was guarding her like a ...well....like a guard dog that night.
Back to the Vicky Bar for a mammoth sesh where Jnr DZOK was named after all the scorers.

4-4 Skol Cup quarter-final with Celtic in 1985...that game had everything.

    2-2 at half-time...3-3 at full-time..and 4-4 after extra time...then a penalty shoot-out win for the Hibees
with Pearce O'Leary skying one over the cowshed. Great goals, great football, skill and excitement galore.

Ye got to be the 6-2 game for me.i only made the second half as my train was late from blackpool
i had to pick my ticket up from hibs club and wondered if I should just stay there to watch second half so
glad I came to my senses and took up my position in the old east terracing to witness 45 mins I will never ever forget and either will the sad little band of gunts who witnessed that famous massacre.

Me and the Missus watched that in the house.

Because the wee man was going through a really bad spell of sleeping at the time,we bizarrely ended up doing a massive SILENT celebration when it finished.

One of the most Surreal moments of my life that didn't include Herbage!

That was special for another reason.
Stood beside a departed Hibby's big brother and Best Man and we wept like kids that day.

It was special for me due to it being an absolutely perfect game which encapsulated Hibs, the highs & lows and the not giving up. It lit a fire in my 9 year old son who is now insanely rabid in his support.

Out with that game, I woulda said Huns semi 2004, best atmosphere I've EVER experienced and phenomenal shoot out.

Tough one mate. I will go for the Millenium derby at Swiney. 0-3 flattered them. We were brilliant that night. Our 0-3 trip tae Ipox was pretty special as well though. "Thanks for your hospitality"
    Peace love and the Hibees

The Riordan penalty derby at Tynie, a make shift team on a cold and wet Thursday night. Half the stand was empty but it was the best atmopshere I've ever seen at Tynie.

The 2-1 at Tynie this year aswell, absolute loving beating those welts there and no better way than to come back from a goal down with a belter of a free kick from Griff and one of the best finishes in the SPL last season from Caldwell right at the end. Brilliant.

The 'Your Not Unbeatable' derby as it was the first time I'd seen us beat them. Also the win at the PBS this year was fantastic!

The League cup win at Motherwell last season was also outstanding!

Our 1st ever win in Inversneckie.

That's mine too. The high water tide mark of the Tornadoes. A glorious exhibition of relentless attacking free-flowing football.

Any game beating the gunts aside, the SCQF 4-3 against smellic at ER in 1986, what a game end to end, and for Eddie May to pop up with a header at the death it was a great afternoon, after MClairs late goal they thought they had a replay in the bag, no feckin way it was a Brill day, and to top it off I spent the day in the east terrace celebrating with my boyhood hero Mr O'Rourke, great game great memories

Games I've attended? 4-3 Vs. Falkirk just there in the semi comes to mind instantly, sitting next to my mate, standing up to leave when they had that one on one chance to go 4-0 up in the first half that Ben Williams saved. HT whistle went, me and my mate turned to each other both basically saying, "All we need is one goal". Then there was a 7-0 vs. Livingston I went to see at Easter Road, I was a bit younger then so I was cheesing out my nut when me and my mate started one of the chants in the old East .

Generally games I've went to against the Gunts have been poor, and we haven't won, but the celebrations when that deflected Wotherspoon shot went in in the first round of the Scottish there were mental. It wasn't complete revenge, but when Pat and Leigh started walking about the pitch applauding all the fans after it, you could see how much it meant to them and to us.

And I never attended this one, but the 3-0 against the Huns at Ibrox in 2005, what a game, and what a performance from Sproule.
