Just received this email from Rock steady:

I refer to your e-mail below regarding the matter of your flag and its removal.

A report has been submitted to me by the Operations Manager on duty at this match.

The stewards in question were acting on instructions from the Club’s Safety Officer to have the flag immediately removed. The activity involving you and the steward was, for the most part, observed on CCTV by the Police / Stewards Control Room.

The supervisor has been spoken to about her attitude and behaviour in this instance.

Shame they haven't offered to pay for it being cleaned, then i would have been happy.

Back in liverpool next week, when do you reckon the next lancs get together/going up will be? I'm assuming your now el presidente since joe was toppled

Theres a thread on it somewhere mate, don't want to start another one as i was being accused of being a liar in the last one. We're all presidents on here chief!!! Couldnae tell you when we'll be getting together again, i will be watching the Tic game somewhere. Dunno what my next game up is yet either!

Strangely enough talking about presidents, I got a pm from Hibee joe from manchester asking for lift to games, could it still be the same joe with just a name change??? answers on a postcard to www.whogivesashit.com

Im affraid it is the same Joe with a new name.

I have never said a bad word to anyone of you in my entire life and you guys hate me for makeing a joke four months ago. I myself think thats sad but still dont have anything bad to say about any of you. Ive even found four guys in Lancashire and Yorkshire and strongly suggested they got incontact with you. Im sure I could still get them to hook up with you guys if you liked.

I joked that I was gonna get a season ticket at Ibrox. That was enough to get me kicked out.

Ofcoure ive also been accused of being sectarian. How a half Irish Roman Catholic can be sectarian against his own community I dont know.

And there was the Rangers fan in disguise one aswell.

I spent 12 1/2 hours travelling too and from a game against St Mirren which cost me £130 and involved one taxi, one metro and four train journeys in one day. That was the day befor I even found out about the Lancashire Hibs so who I was trying to fool I dont know.

Im sure i'll be accused of all sorts of things from bigamy to baby eating, most of which will be new to me. But you never can underestimate peoples desire to take someone who they disagree with and lynch him for any old exscuse.

I know that might seem stupid to you but in recent times ive given real thought to leaving uni.

I rememer Bob joked about having an Ireland flag on my breast, id rather have a Scottish flag there but I still have a great admiraton and love for Ireland. I just fell that not approving of a united was misinterpreted as some sort of sectarianism, which isnt the case.

A bit of a late reply on this one BUT Indian Hindus have managed to be sectarian to their own people through their belief in the Caste system, so it's quite easy
