NI Hibs - Next trip to ER
Hail hail all,
Thanks to almost being destroyed by solicitor's fees from a house move my hopes of a visit to ER at the start of the season. Lost in a sea of stamp duty, professional fees and the rest (the barsewards). Anyone, I'm off the Iceland tits, bum and hoof burgers and I'll soon be in a half-sensible zone of 'the red' and fit for a trip back to the Holy Ground. Looks mid-December will be the earliest if anyone would like to join me in the traditional long-boat across, visit to the Cabbage bar and stop off at the club shop to buy unnecessary tat? If any other members are going before then let me know and I'll pass the word around. Plastic Hibs Pendants Go Bragh, NIH

Welcome to the NI Hibs forum brother,
But as for your trip to the Celtic game, if I can get Biblical for a second and quote from Proverbs 12v10: 'The persons who shuns the bitter moments of friends will be an outside at their celebrations' You are suffering an inner conflict, child, and you must - indeed - visit Easter Road before before the days of Christmas are apon us. There, the eleven representatives of all that is true and good will aid you in your struggle. Peace be apon you, NIH (Rev. - Universal Life Church of California)

Gawd! How can anyone follow that line of conversation???!!!
But anyways..... I thought I'd let you know NI Hibby that my Brother and his wife are visiting moi next weekend and have agreed to come to the Dundee v Hibs game with me and Bridie. My bro has always been a Watford fan (we share the dream of real teams doing good) and he would bend towards Celtic (if he had to) when pressed on a Scottish team. So, hopefully I may get to - at least - sway his mind on the celtic persuation and have Hibs as being the best two (I can't change their minds entirely!!!) Will be great to see the bounce members there, if they decide to make this one of their away specials. But, a message to my bro on how Hibs CAN BE would be just as good as them winning on the day..... Dundee are doing great at the mo, so it'll be tough going according to form. Slainté, Scoobs.

Hi Scooby,
Cheers for letting us know about the game next weekend. It's out for me as I'm planning December as the point when my temporary David Blaine-like existence starts to return to more of an Arthur Daly (cigar chomping and drink-swilling) one. Fot those who have just tuned in, this was caused by a solicitor who charged me a larger number than I have ever seen when I moved house, despite not actually doing anything - and yet doing it that nothing very very slowly and badly. Anyway......will be going to a game soon but not as early as the Dundee game. If I hear that any of the rest of the lads are going across I'll let you know, but normally getting them organised for a game involves a month's notice for few hundreds phone calls, excuses to wives and/or girlfriends and the search for affordable travel (followed by a few hundred more phone calls). As for your brother, hopefully there'll be something to impress him, on the pitch (but what conditions to play under - the Manager on notice!! f***ing rediculous) and even if he isn't he'll notice a difference between the supporters he will meet and those from the 'big brand' clubs such as Celtic. Hope you all - and Hibs - have a great day, let us know what he thought if you get a chance, NIH
