Welcome to the NI Hibs forum.....

If we haven't been totally beaten by technology some of you will be reading this after visiting the new Northern Ireland Hibs [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] website.

This forum is used for NI Hibs updates (trips to games, meetings for TV matches etc.) as well as general chat and banter.

Please feel free to post replies and comments at will.

In particular, comments on the new nihibs website are very welcome, as this has been the main thing keeping us busy for some time.

Hi Kev,

The new site won't be online until the early hours of tomorrow morning or a bit later.

I've sent out tons of e:mails, wee articles to local newspapers all over NI etc. so I wanted to have a welcome post on here in case I am still recovering when people start to look around!

Nowt a bottle of Irn Bru won't fix, of course, but the magic usually won't work until lunchtime on Saturdays.

Thanks for the comments Kev, Scoob and U What - I don't get over to ER as much as I could and should so it was great to work on the site.

Did you pay me for the trophy U What? Not sure - but if you did it went the same way all the rest of my money went that night! No matter now anyhow.

If you are feeling guilty you could go and spend it all on vodka in Leith and that would put it where it belongs!

Membership fees will keep until the next time we all see each other as we are already well behind in Supporters' Association fees anyway. I'm sure they understand our situation.

Kev - The guestbook for the site is on the home page on the bottom left - all posts are welcome (but I think is nearly full and will have to be archived, I'm told)

Just noticed your comments about the site on the other thread - much appreciated, especially from a man of your profession!

The designer and the techie hadn't worked together before and wanted something to get stuck into - the certainly enjoyed doing it as I think they found the images of players and crowds good to work with.

I'm delighted, anyway, and I have been getting a few more e:mails since it went online - the more people who know about NI Hibs the better, after all. More people for us to talk into a possible conversion trip to ER!
