Launch date for new website!

Hail hail,

At last we have a launch date for the new site - it looks like Saturday September 27.

Sections include this forum, merchandise, gallery, scrapbook, 'about' section and a few wee surprises.

I'm going to try to stick to this but will keep you all up to date with any changes.

Just had my first look at the site - extremely impressive.

Thanks for the nihibs.com link, I'll make sure that we add one for MH to the new site.

I think I did send some items in a while ago about Northern Ireland Hibs. Thanks for using them.

I could send something fresh about the new website and about NIHibs at the end of the months if you think there might be room for it?

The website was impressive until it went down tonight lol.

Anything you want to publicise it, feel free to send on and we'll use it. I'm still to take out membership on the basis on my grandmother being from Norn Iron.

Your grandmother was from NI? That's been good enough to get a game for Ireland in the past, so it's good enough to be considered a member of NI Hibs!

We're still looking good for a launch at the end of the month.

I want to make sure a bit of publicity is well in place as this is a one-off for us to hopefully pick up some new members.

Have you given the usual suspects newspapers a shout? In particular (the papers I know well) Banbridge Chronicle, Down Democrat (ex-employers), Down Recorder, Mourne Observer. Oh, you could try the Newry Reporter as well.

That is if you still contacting the papers for press-releases, etc.....
