FAO ROI Hibee

Me and my fella are escaping the madness which is Belfast in July and heading over to Prague from the 9th-15th, have you got any tips?

We're pretty skint so we're probably just going to turn up and look for a campsite or something to crash in, are there any places which offer incredibly cheap accommodation that you know of? Doesn't have to be near the city centre, we're probably gonna rent a car and bugger off into the countryside for a day or two anyway.

Also, what places are best to go to and, even more importantly, best avoided? Any help of advice would be much appreciated!! :

Many many thanks

For cheap accomodation you'll definitely have to lave the centre of Prague. Will lok into a few places on the outskirts for you. It doesn't really make a difference anyway, the transport system here is amazing. Dunno about camping sites, but think there are a few along the Vltava River.

For a few drinks definitely avoid the Irish Bars if you don't wanna spend too much. A beer will set you back 70kc, in my local (and pretty much all czech bars) a beer is 20kc.

Let me know your accomodation budget and I'll see what I can do re: hotels etc

Cheers

Re: FAO ROI Hibee

Jeeeesus, 30c? Right, I'll pack a big hat and plenty sunscreen then. I burn like nobody's business in any sort of sun!

Accomodation-wise I think our absolute maximum limit for two, for the whole time, would be around £200. We were thinking an apartment or something like that but there doesn't seem to be anything for that price. If all else fails, we'll stay in a campsite..especially if it's 30c!!

Thanks for the help mate

Re: FAO ROI Hibee

Not yet, we're pretty skint until the day we actually leave so we're thinking of just turning up in the city and seeing what we can find. Even a campsite would be sufficient in that heat!
Cheers,

S
