Kind of makes me grateful for my oil heating, even if I did go the entire winter with a broken burner and wandered around in a blanket for three months.

And the bad news for you my friend is its likely your heating oil is supplied by Grangemouth or should I have said it would have been if the refinery was not about to go on strike! (and all NI petrol and diesel)

I hope you have at least a few weeks supply or you know someone who can acquire it from another source.

Well, the burner's still broken so still no heating oil as yet, living off electric at the moment (which is costing a bomb, those leccy heaters eat powercards). And thankfully I'm not a driver so the fuel crisis won't affect me too badly. I do feel sorry for my slightly more civilised friends who have vehicles and central heating though.

No oil, no gas....we're all buggered, really. Back to ripping up floorboards then.

Phoenix have been doing this a lot in the last few years which is why I know absolutely no one who has it installed in their hoose.
