Boozers/clubs in Galway and Castlebar
Myself and a squad of other 40 year-old party animals are heading over to see the Twins in Castlebar on Friday.
Can any of you good people recommend decent boozers in Galway on a Thurs/Sat night, and Castlebar on a Friday night? Are there any clubs in these towns that play dead cheesy music and stay open until stupid o'clock?

Can't say I remember the names of pubs/clubs in Galway but aroun Eyre Square is your best bet.
Galway is BRILLIANT, you'll have great time there, great place

My bird used to live there..I'll get a wee list for you by tomrrow..Never had a bad night out in Galway just cant mind where Ive been!

The area around eyre square is best have not been for a few years so from memory the quays,bar cuba,busker browns,neachtains (pronounce- knock tins),the kings head,hope these help.
