the Northern Ireland-Sweden game in fact wasn't a pile of pants. In actual fact, NI played fairly well, despite having most of the first team out.

Just a thought. Plus Sproule played. Which helps any situation.....

Right anyway. This is a pointless thread. Feel free to delete it. Am off to bed.

Yup - thought NI battled well but Ivan wasn't on top form and didn't have much chance to shine in any case.

Saying that, I'd forgotten all about the game since I listen to too much BBC radio, which was as always chok full of commentators slashing their wrists over England's continuing lack of success.
