Rep of Ireland International on trial at Rangers

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/foot...rs/6912435.stm

First Irishman since 1964 to play for them (if it happens)

Celtic fans going mad about this on forums over here. Would be so funny if he got a contract

Re: Rep of Ireland International on trial at Rangers

Isn't this the guy who pulled a muscle in the warm up at his first Ibrox training session and can't play on trial now? Ridiculous if Celtic fans are getting worked up about this prospect. Just goes to prove there are bigots on all sides. Mind you, I imagine some fans of his prospective new club - the infamous Scotland's Shame, will be slavering at the mouth at the very idea.

Obviously, since they struggle to separate football from politics they think everyone should wear the same blinkers.

No to foreign games!

The way I was reading the thread was that we were taking the pesh out of the Old Firm, a subject we almost never mention in the Irish Hibbys pages

This is "IRISH HIBEES" section and this is thread about a Rep of Ireland International footballer and I wanted to see other Irish Hibees views on it. Don't post if you don't have an opinion on it would be my advice

Does an old firm fish bowl have lots of Steve Guppys swimming in it?

Coats already on...
