Player of Season 2006/2007

Hi All,

Well, it's that time of the year again. After last years presentation I'm hoping this years will be bigger and better.

Voting is open to all members, honorary members and Czech Inn regulars. As with last year, the presentation will be made in the 1875 Gallery at Easter Road, we are looking at confirming hospitality for the KILMARNOCK game on September 29th. I'll be confirming ticket prices in the coming days

Could everyone either PM or text me with their vote.

I will be sending out a newsletter with more information on this in the next week or so.



As usual, Nabser will be organising the trophy at Waterford Crystal, so I just need to remind everyone about donations towards this Last year we were well short of the cost of the trophy which isn't a nice situation to be in. If everyone gave just €20 each we would easily cover the cost of the trophy, and maybe a few rounds of beer at the match too




Last year was a really great day, and I'm hoping this year will be so much better (and Hibs win the match)


Our Scottish based friends that attended last year are more than welcome too as are wifes, partners, lovers etc

I think you're biggest problem is going to be picking a Player who is still at the Club to receive the award!

Stevie, if you and your bird decide to go will you remind her to bring her ID this time. Oh, and maybe stay off the sumbuca eh?



I think player of the year should go the the lad who played for the irish Hibs 5-a-side team. He took a diving header in to the boards, dislocated his shoulder, and then played on! Legend.

Hi everyone. Player of Season has now been decided.


I am going over to the Inverness game on Sept 1st and will be paying for tickets then. Can meet up with anyone before then to arrange money for tickets @ £80 each

Alright lads, as it turns out, I will be home that weekend as my brothers wife is having her first child. Going to have to be a sensible uncle from now on!

Anyway, it's probably too late to attend the dinner et al, but I'll be out for beers in the evening, and of course, I'll be at the match.
