Re: On-line tickets for games

How are you's able to order over phone for tickets? I chat with some people from Cork, and they say that they don't have credit cards cos the government taxes it, around €40 euros a year. And they have 'Laser' cards, which aren't accepted in the UK, apparantly....

Not being nosey about your financial affairs, just wonderin'

Re: On-line tickets for games

Each credit card account is charged €40 "Government stamp duty" each April - what the feck for I've no idea!
The laser card is Ireland's equivalent of Switch in Scotland and can only be used domestically but this is being replaced by Maestro soon enough which will be international.
