Irish Tour; Dublin to Cork by coach?

Lads, the following is on the main board, if any of you are interested, please leave your name there. Cheers.

Fellow Hibees

Quite a few people have enquired with us as to the different ways of going from Dublin to Cork via public transport, as they are basing themselves in the Capital for the duration of the tour. The ideal way is obviously by train but at €55 per return trip, it’s working out extremely expensive.

We are looking at the possibility of running a coach from Dublin city centre to Cork, leaving early on the Sunday morning and returning back the same evening.

We have sourced a coach company (thanks to Mark of West Dublin Hibs) who are willing to do this and the price would be €15 (return) per person based on filling all 49 seats. Obviously, price would be more if we didn’t fill bus.

Nothing has yet been booked, I want to see if it’s feasible. At this stage, I just want to see what the interest is. The trip is open to ALL Hibs fans irrespective of colour, creed or messageboard background . Can anyone who would be DEFINITELY interested in this method of travel from Dublin to Cork please reply to this. Many thanks.

Admins; Could this be left as a sticky for the next week or so. Cheers.

érin go brágh,
Keith.

Good scheme Keith

I'm one of the ones, though, who's booked to stay Saturday and Sunday night in Cork but otherwise would have been very interested.

Some of the lads from NI are coming down so I'll sticky this so they can see it.

Cheers Keith,

NIH

Just to confirm, lads, that we'll be travelling to Langerland by train on Sunday morning and returning the same evening.

See yiz down there, do you know where you're going for pre-match Shandies?

Conor, did you ever get the new flag sorted? Will we see it in Turners Cross?

We'll see you in Cark and hopefully in Dublin as well.

Should have the banner - looking forward to an 'unfurling' event!
