Any tips folks?

Hi folks,
I know this is the NI forum but I also know that many people from all parts of Ireland take part in yer blarney, so I am looking in hope for a wee bit of advice.

Anyone got any good suggestions for companies that do self catering accommodation in the Emerald Isle that is competitive compared to the grand-a-week rents we can buy over here for Ireland through ripemov holiday companies?

Any suggestions from people with some local knowledge, particularly of letting agents in the south of your fine island?

Drop these people .....

http://www.discovernorthernireland.com/

and these people....

www.ireland.ie
www.tourismireland.com

a line.

I'm pretty sure the first lot (probably all of them) do a guide to self-catering. A friend has used them, they are reputable and it wasn't too expensive at all.

Aside from that I don't have any particular recommendations as I've never booked a house in Ireland. I've already got one I can hardly afford to keep!
