Here's the final 'to do' list for the Turnbull function.

If there's anything listed under your name make sure it is done before the next meeting at the start of March.

ITINERARY - Tribute to Eddie Turnbull weekend

Friday March 11th -

13.20: Members meet at social club, equipment/tables/raffle prizes/ticket table etc. to be set up
13.40: NIH drops off DJ equipment and goes to collect guests (Flight 486; dep. 13:50; arr. 14:40 Booking ref: E4FMNRW in name of Mr EDDIE TURNBULL, Mr THOMAS WRIGHT also Alan Gordon and Tommy Preston)
14.40: Guests to be met at airport by NIH. Travel to hotel (Belfast city centre) by car passing some of Belfast's famous (and infamous!) sights.
15.30(approx.): Arrival at hotel and free time for guests.
18.30: Informal meal at local restaurant with members of NI Hibs. Take remaining posters to be signed.
19.30: Doors open at venue. Backround music until arrival of DJ at approx. 20.00
20.00: Guests brought to social club, IAteJamTarts to phone mobile from foyer and Mr T's arrival to be announced by compere.
20.30: NI Hibs rep. welcomes and thanks, announces arrangements for next day, few words from Mr Wright re: former players' association.
20.35: Raffle tickets on sale around tables
20.50: Few words from Mr. Turnbull followed by raffle draw, auction and presentations (NI Hibs then Westies), photos
21.00: DJ and then band until finish
End: Frizzure to arrange taxi home for guests

Saturday March 12th -

12.00 (TBC): Any members going to C'ville match to meet
12.30: Guests to be collected by by IAte's mate for airport run to Belfast International airport (the one at Antrim. Flight 487; dep. 15:00; arr. 15:50. Check in opens 13.00; Closes 14.30)

NEXT MEETING - Friday 25th February (we can call it a night out afterwards as well).

All members to try to have anything they have taken on to organise sorted by the date of the meeting so new tasks can be handed out where ness.

All members to bring cash for the tickets they've sold if possible.

Plans are going well and everything is almost in place. Plenty of work to be done at the last minute but it's going to go off well - we visited the venue again and it looks class.

The meal should be booked for the four Hibs men plus two NI Hibbys. Get a number for the restaurant in your phone in case we want to add any extra people at the last minute - we can only ask.

Book it for, say, 7pm as I would like ET and the rest at the club at 8.15pm.

Everyone check the list above and make sure you've done the things you're listed to do. Make sure you bring the money owed for tickets you've sold.

Remember that we'll need people in the club from lunchtime onwards - 1.15pm onwards.

By the way - I've asked a mate to bring a digital recorded so we can print copies of Eddie's speech onto CD afterwards!!

I'm just going through the final details and things to be done so all is well!

By the way it is important that all members bring the money for tickets they have sold (incuding a ticket for themselves) as otherwise the event is going to run at a potentially big loss.

If you all look at the figures at the top of the thread you'll see that even making a shortfall of £100 depends on everyone doing this.
