New NI Hibs banner

[Northern Ireland Hibby]

Lads,

I'm getting the NI Hibs banner remade, which means that we'll have a huge green and white banner like before except this time I haven'f figured out how to get the lettering done yet!

The banner will be about 12ft long and 5ft deep with three equal sized bits of material - two green either side with a white one in the middle.

Anyone got any ideas as to how we could get lettering done on this?

I know you have your own banner already mate, but chuck 'barmy flags' into your search engine, and have a wee look at their wares.
We, the Halbeath Tartan Army, had a 15ft by 9ft flag made by these people, and a very good deal was done!

Lads - I need you all to decide what size of banner we would like to have made and what we would like written on it. The few letters the better and I suggest...

Also, we can have the flag split in two (with green on the top or vice versa) or split into three vertically or horizontally with white in the middle. Let me know what you all think it best.

Barmy Flags is wile expensive to get a decent one done.

We could make our own lettering (time-consuming, but I've done it before) or simply paint it - I've done that plenty of times, and on flags much bigger than a 12x5ft one

I'd forgotten that Fizzure knows a thing or twenty about making banners.

I think he should be not only the official NI Hibs Pace Drinker but should also be Mr Chief Banner Advisor as well.

Without laying on further stereotypes, I would've thought that NI would be great for banners, etc.

You do know that -ready artwork works just as well for flag makers as it does for pencils and business cards, etc..... You're paying for the artwork, lads.

A good point Scooby - NI should be excellent for banners. Now that Fizzure is official NI Hibs bannerman we could try painting our own though.

Do you know anyone in the art college, i will email the college and ask if a student would be willing to paint for us and at what cost, what do you think.

match is at 2pm, i will be there at 1pm. not sure about ned the last sunday i was there he waS workING and arrived at 1.30pm after work.
