A city guide to Edinburgh and Belfast is to be added to the nihibs.com site. It will list individual venues (such as The Oak, the Hibs Club, the Cabbage and Ribs, the Iona) and places of interest and a few lines about each.

Could everyone add any items they want to be added in this tread - time to give credit where it's due to our favourite places and get stuck into the worst of them (including, for example, all of the West End in Edinburgh).

Not a great expert of all things Edinburgh, although I wish I was. There is this Italian restaurant across the road from the Edinburgh Playhouse at the top of the Walk which does the best Pasta I've ever tasted - if that's any help to anyone!

Sounds like Bar Roma but I'll check - I've been there a couple of times. Had an atrocious Valentine's Day meal there but I reckon it is usually excellent.

Is anything else in Belfast worthy of a mention other than the Oak. I mean, my house is nice an all, but I don't know if it'd be any use to anyone
