Northern Ireland Hibby will become famous soon enough
The night was a piece of Hibs history - and Northern Ireland Hibs history - in our new wee lucky supporters' club pub.

The place was quiet enough when the game started and we even had a few of the obligatory pretend Rangers supporters trying to wind us up a bit.

There were six (a record for us) of us and, as the game went on, the 'band' were trying to set up and, with extra time well started, decided to make a start anyway.

Playing to now busy bar, the musicians (of the man plus bird and backing tape type) belted out Celine Dion and other insults to the world of music. The screwy-face up difficult female singing bits during the penalties were usually ruined by us screaming things like 'yyyyyaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, goooo oooooonnnnnnnnn' and 'ooh to be' etc.

More used to watching supporters of 'brands' such as the Old Firm, I think the punters were amazed to see the hugging, jumping around and celebrating we did after Murdock made himself a NI Hibs hero.

So NI Hibs now have an official new lucky boozer (this only applies when lucky member Fizzure is there).

You go through to Glasgow to watch the game GS?

Is it PC to say.... GERRITUPYEEEEEE! I suppose not.

I was in a pub today in Dundee, a tremendous bar called The Doghouse. It was great for ages, then closed down (I know all the reasons why). We got to know the new owners, lovely guys, and they started the conversation about the cup game on Thurs.

He's a Rangers fan, from Dunfermline originally, and all he kept saying was 'why was that mols and arteta d1cks playing? They're f***ing sh1t and they don't deserved to wear a Rangers shirt. And that tit Frank de Bollocks? Why was he allowed to kick a penalty?

After I got my drinks (whilst saying nothing the whole time), I showed them my tasteful pin on my coat of the crown crest logo of Hibs.......

A BIG CHEER I GOT!!!! No slagging, no abuse, I got pure and utter cheers!!!! I got a handshake each, and they said the Hibs deserved it.

Now, that's 3 good Rangers fans I've met. (the first was when we were on holiday in Tenerife last Nov.)

Happy Scoobs.

Scoobs -

Funny you should have had that experience.

I spoke on the phone to a die-hard bluenose the next day who made a point of congratulating me and saying that 'if it had to be anyone its not so bad that it was you boys'.

This is a dyed in the wool Sticky Bun who is normally less than gracious in defeat, so it stood out a bit.

I suppose some of Rangers supporters must be so pissed off with GJP that they aren't even bothering with the usual excuses.
