Fans Interview #6
Stu is the sixth great member of the bounce to give us a Fan Interview.
If you want to be like Stu and have a Fan Interview on the front page of the Bounce click here and follow the instructions. ![]() Name :: Stuart Frew Username :: Stu Radgeness :: Maple Leaf Radge Drinking Establishment :: The Woodlark Inn. Lambley, Notts In Edinburgh, The Guildford arms and many others. Location :: Redhill, Nottingham (Originally Musselburgh) First Hibernian Game... I couldn’t give a definitive answer to this one, it would have been around 1965/6 season. All I remember was THAT terrace! Those green and white jersey's making pretty patterns left an indelible image though... Most memorable moment following the Hibees? Very recently, the CIS, League Cup Final. The moments after the final whistle, celebrating, laughing, crying, with my heart bursting and thinking of my late dad and granddad were very special. They meant the world to me. Favourite all-time player? Joe Baker because I got to see him at something like his best. Dynamic, eye-catching and just the perfect centre-forward. Honourable mentions to two wonderful midfielders, Peter Cormack and Alex Cropley. Favourite all-time manager? It has to be Eddie Turnbull. Sure he made mistakes (who doesn’t?) but the Tornadoes were a wonderful team to watch. They played the game the right way – The Hibernian way. Current Favourite Player? Zemmama - This wee guy is going to do beautiful things with Hibs, I’m sure of it - We’ve only seen glimpses of it so far. If you were manager at Hibs who would you bring to the club and why? Difficult one but I guess I’d go for Guillaume Beuzelin. He has touch, finesse and great control. He’s a heads-up type of player and I like to see that. A good quality footballer. Style, and playing the game the way it should be played is all-important to me. If you were manager at Hibs who would you bring to the club and why? If money were no object it would have to be Ronaldhino. Just imagine watching his tricks and flicks every Saturday afternoon! Greatest lengths gone to see Hibs? None especially but most times I visit Easter Road takes a bit of effort and expense due to living at a distance. Funniest Hibs-related moment? It has to be the ‘booked for being ugly’ moment with Stevie Fulton! I actually like Fulton and think he takes a fair bit of abuse pretty well! Stu's favourite image... I plumped for this rather unusual choice of a view of Easter Road. It reminds me of being back home and the excitement and expectation of walking down the ‘Heavenly Boulevard’ to the game. Very evocative. ![]()
