As part of the ongoing fund-raising to help the orphaned kids of Dnipropetrovsk, we are delighted announce the Dnipro Appeal Race Night, to be held in the Hibs Club off Easter Road.
It promises to be a cracking evening with 8 races, prizes galore, special appearances by Hibs players, young and old, an excellent buffet, and some neat disco dancing.

Before the event tho', we have to fill the race card, of which the first half is below.

Race Card

Each horse will cost you £10, if your horse wins that race you will recieve the Sponsors prize of £30. If your nag, erm, "horse" doesn't finish first you could still win one of the excellent prizes, which have been donated to the Appeal by various companies & individuals, if you finish in one of the place positions, ie, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.
These prizes include, signed Hibs shirt, signed Hibs ball, signed 0-3 Ivan Programme, signed Pat Stanton Testimonial programme, 2 Tickets for the Captains Table Hospitality at the Dunfermline game on 30/12/06, and many more great prizes.

There will also be a very special prize of a digital- worth in excess of £ 160 for the person who makes the highest bid in the auction race, which will be the last race of the evening.

Race Sponsors

We have some race sponsors at the moment, and some are waiting to be confirmed, but if you or your company want to sponsor a race, or take an ad out in the Race Night Programme, send a pm to one of the team (Gunnerhibby, 1875, Lix, Barbiegirl or StevieC) and we'll give you all the details of what it entails.

So far we have received sponsorship from hibeesbounce.com, hibs.net, AJS Television Services and visitedscotland.com.

Entry

There will be no tickets sold for this event, but, on the night we will be producing a Race Night Programme, which you can purchase for £2.
The first Race will be off at 7.00pm


Payments

You can pay for your horse(s) using the paypal link below, or alternatively you can pm us and we will send you the bank details for the charity. Please remember to fill in the Gift Aid Form, this is very important to us, as it allows us to claim 28% of your donation amount back from those lovely people at the Inland Revenue. Once confirmed we will add your name to the Race Card.
