Drawing West Lothian clubs in cup competitions is a complete pain...

Edinburgh or East or Midlothian clubs play on Sundays and our school teams play on Saturdays.

West Lothian teams, in their wisdom, play schools Friday and clubs Saturday.

The upshot is that when we draw one of them in the cup competitions it totally wrecks school teams in the Edinburgh area. Laddies can't be in two places at once.

Have this problem next week as the school season kicks off in earnest - key boys on club duty because they have been drawn in West Lothian in a cup.

Really is a total pain.

Surely it really would make sense for everyone to be in line with one another on this? Why is one association so different to everyone else?

try having a son who lives in west Lothian and goes to school in edinburgh! he cant play for his school although he desperately wants to. West Lothian are so out of synch. Its something that should be looked at.

ive had this argument myself m8 a lot girls play for there schools on sat morning as well as club football our league is the swfa is everything not linked to hampden
