Can I just ask... in what way was Lewis the best player on the pitch? What did he do that was so special?

Yeah he did have a decent game to be fair. Hard to tell if he looked good due to others round about him being so poor right enough.

Maybe nothing spectacular but from what I've seen of Hibs lately, Stevenson is one of the few who shows a bit of composure on the ball and is able to pass to a teammate fairly regularly.

You see thats the thing- you said he was 'outstanding' and yet you cant give a reason as to why thats the case. If he was that good surely it isnt too difficult to give some reasoning? Seems to be trendy to heap praise on Lewis at the moment for ermm... trying?

I'm not going to hammer the guy, but what he looks like to me is a wee guy just about keeping his head above water whilst doing absolutely nothing of any note or any real quality.

If you're happy with him at left-back your opinion differs to mine, which is no problem but I'd at least like to know why folk are rating him so highly.

IMO he was nowhere near best player on the park and that was in an absolutely mediocre game.

pretty sure i read he played the first half of the game vs celtic reserves.. so hopefully just a matter of weeks til hes rippin defences apart up and down the country again
