Hibs Shares
Does anybody know how it works To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Or better still... is there anybody on here bought shares in recent years this way that can tell us how much the service costs... and how the shares are priced... just curious after looking at discussions on some club takeovers on a general fitba site |

Re: Hibs Shares
Here are the details that I got sent through by E Mail a wee while ago mate.
Hope it helps. The shares cost 50p each and must be bought in blocks of 100 (i.e £50.00). The cheque should be made payable to HFC Holdings Ltd (Stamp duty is no longer payable for transactions below £1000). Please send the cheque to the address below, marked for my attention. Please can you also include a letter stating your name, address and telephone number. I’ll get the certificate to you as soon as possible although this is likely to take a few weeks. If you have any questions please let me know. Kind regards Pete Jensen Assistant Accountant Hibernian Football Club Easter Road Stadium 12 Albion Place Edinburgh EH7 5QG T 0131 656 7082 E [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Re: Hibs Shares
so I own £450 worth of an SPL club...
To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. a fraction of 1% of the shares... but on a more serious note... 60 million shares worth 50p makes Hibs valued at £30 million pounds... which I suppose is an accurate figure for a business with two major property assets valued at just over £21 million and carrying low debt are there any valuation experts out there who can give us an idea how you value an ongoing business ? |

Assuming you paid 50p per share then you must own 900 shares which, again assuming all 60 million shares are in issue, would mean that you own 0.0015% of the shares ! Valuing a business like this, these days, is quite easy it is what some idiot is prepared to pay for it ! Alternatively as a shareholder pitch up to the A.G.M. and ask Mr. Gardiner. |

Is that not what the OP said? A fraction of 1% is 0.0015%? |

To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. but as I said... I am pretty sure Professional valuation services use a formula which works share price against assets / liabilities I also appreciate the price they would work out is only valid if someone was willing to pay it To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 5 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. As I said it was a bit of idle wondering triggered by reading discussions elsewhere on how you value a football club |
