Fletcher or Miller

After watching the scotland game am i being biased or do you think that Steven Fletcher could offer more up front than Kenny Miller.IMO All kenny miller does is run into corners and is not a natural finisher only my opinion just wondering what others think

Re: Fletcher or Miller

Miller puts in a shift but rarely does anything.

O'Connor + McFadden for me.

Re: Fletcher or Miller

Riordan could offer more than both of those players but if its only between Fletch and Kenny im going for Steven Fletcher. Fletchers got more strength and fight in his game Millers up against defenders is like taking candy froma baby!

Re: Fletcher or Miller

Fletcher is or will be a better all round player than Miller imo. Miller did well at Hibs but he relies too much on his pace as his touch is pretty poor at that level. Has had the odd fine game for Scotland - against Italy a few years ago for instance. His scoring record is pretty good for Scotland to be fair but he's quite limited in what he can do. If he doesn't score he doesn't generally give much to the team.

Having said that I don't think Fletcher is ready to hold down a regular place. Let's not forget how many sitters he has missed so far this season - that would not be easily forgiven at international level. However, judging by what I saw today he doesn't have a great deal of competition up front.
