Chico and Mcginlay

The Andy Goram goal, brought up in another thread got me thinking of the Chic Charnley goal against Alloa from his own half. Anyone remember it?

Pat Mcginlay did the same thing a few weeks later against Killie too.

I think it was 3-1. I was there. I'm sure they scored 1st or they equalised or something.

Re: Chico and Mcginlay

Remember both goals well...Charnley's in particular was something to see. A shot from his own half.

The Godfather is on the way to a first team debut
Re: Chico and Mcginlay

I am sure when Henrick Larson made his debut it was against us at Easter Road as a sub. Chico stole the ball of him from the half way line and scored from about 40 yards.

I'm sure this is what happened, can anyone shed some light on this please.

It was like, larssons first ever touch for Celtic. He passed the ball straight to Chic who took one touch and thumped home a 25-30 yarder.
