With the expansion of our activities in Dnipropetrovsk (update to follow soon) we have around 6 Ukrainian volunteers who are offering to help Ira with the orphanage work and with the Baby Centre.

Ira would like to be able to keep in touch with these volunteers and has asked if there are any Hibs supporters that might have old mobile phones (complete with chargers) lying around that they no longer require.

It would be greatly appreciated if we could manage to source half a dozen phones within the next couple of weeks so they could be with the volunteers at the official launch of the Dnipro Kids Centre at the end of September.

A huge thanks to everyone for their continued support of the charity.

Stevie, I've got a few old mobiles lying about. A couple may need a wee fix or that, but you're welcome to them all mate.

Although they do have pokey wee shops in Dnipropetrovsk that offers to unlock phones .. as well as selling all the tat that goes with them .. so you can still donate it if it's locked.

1875 is right though, it would be better if it was already unlocked.

Thanks guys, it's a start. If you could either them getting either dropped off, posted or passed on at the next Hibs game that would be much appreciated.

I got a new moblie a couple of years ago... but switched sim cards

would the old phone with charger but new sim card... be a usable option?

the handset is waiting to go somewhere... best a charity I believe in ;)

All we need is the phone and the charger .. we will get sim cards in Dnipropetrovsk.
