Did the twisted corrupt leader of Football Sepp Blatter not recently state that if a player is not being played or selected for a certain %age of games then he is entitled to pay up his contract? I recall him saying this in response to Man Utd saying Ronaldo would be left in the stands rather then be sold.

If this is the case and given thr U21 rule in the SPL could Derek Riordan invoke this clause and have a buy out of say £400,000 if his earnings are £8,000 per week?

Or did I pick this up incorrectly?

I'm sure he could buy out his contract from the end of this month, however i'm sure one of the bouncers with these fabulous contacts, will be along shortly to bestow, some concrete info

Aye but he's mo likely to part wi the cash unless he gets it back with a signing on fee with his next club.
