Funny that, I don't know MANY, if ANY Hibs fan's that are excited about the new season ahead! Of course, maybe they're no taking the same amount of drug's as you!
Still, I suppose your right, after all we have played sooooooo well in pre-season and signed sooooooo many quality players! Oh and our manager has shown just how well he is motivating the squad, how fit and sharp he is getting them, eh!
Aye right, ya............

And as for Steve Lovell. I'm gutted as Falkirk were trying to arrange a loan deal with a far superior striker. This probably means that that deal is gone

Gonnae tell us who Louis ? I, for one, agree that Yogi's policy of signing young EPL players on loan or indeed permenantly is a good way of gaining success. Mowbray used a similar policy to an extent with Shiels, Murphy, Morrow (

), Hogg and Rocastle.

I am fairly downbeat about the current situation but am more than willing to give the new signings a decent chance to impress without resorting to labelling them duds after a few dodgy friendly performances. However, I know that if we get off to a bad start, there is every chance a large number of fans will get on their backs and look to blame them when really the blame lies elsewhere.

A midfield of Thicot and Murray doing the ball winning and Shiels and Zemmama doing the play making definitely has potential. Whether that potential is realised remains to be seen and I have a bad feeling that Chisholm and Ranking may yet feature heavily.

The way I'm getting this is that Lovell never chose Falkirk over Hibs, he was never offered a deal at hibs full stop.

I said on another thread that I was considering returning my season ticket, and to be perfectly honest, there is absolutely nothing happening at E.R that is making me think it is a bad idea. I have been through a lot of shit with Hibs, but I've never felt so disheartened going into a season before. Our club is sinking fast, we may have some of the top facilities in Europe, but what is the point if we are going to be playing 1st division football? Last night's score has left me fearing for the season ahead
