Anyone know anything about this? How much they offered etc?

'Today Paatelainen disclosed there had been an offer for Benji but refused to discuss details although the player's agent Clive Hart claimed it had been made by Westerlo and was rejected.

Paatelainen has made no secret of the fact he's keen to slim down what he sees as an over-sized squad although he is actively seeking fresh talent.

But he added: "Benji is a quality striker, no doubt about that, and I value him. He's a fantastic player, a goal-scorer, very skilful and we all know what he is capable of doing. He's had a frustrating season but every player goes through that at some stage in their career."

Hopefully he gets another chance under Mixu, he's the best striker we have at the moment IMHO.

perhaps Benji feels he's achieved his targets for the HIbs part of his career by attaining International calibre and scoring a cup final double.

maybe he's been getting tapped by his International cronies as suggested elsewhere, but if Mixu can get him fired up and off to a good start this season he could be top notch.

You'd have to say judging by the comments in the original post that Mixu hasn't given up on Benji. Question is, has Benji given up on Hibs?

theyre pretty pish. If benji is going to belgium i hope he chooses a team like beerschoot because or cercle brugge cos thats his level
