I have been asked a questiion by someone at my work about Sean Lynch. I thought he had been released by Hibs but i cant seem to find anything to confirm this.

Hope not. For what i have seen of him he looked a lot better than Chislom, kerr and a few other first team players........

Anyone have the answer?

I've seen him quite a few times and he's never impressed me. I'd still have him in the starting XI before Brian Kerr though.

Kerr hasn't really played alot for us so far because of injuries. I thought it was totally disrespectfull to boo him off the park when he was subbed. I actually had a go at some guy sitting behinde me giving him dogs abuse.

The guys been injured has no confidence and even if he isny the best player he doesny deserve that.

I think you are wrong. You should defend the guy. The people that jeered him off should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Brian Kerr was offered more money and a better prospect if he came to Hibs and quite rightly he took it. The fact that some folk dont recognise his effort or see any talent or any potential in the guy doesnt mean he deserves to be treated like that.

Cue the "we pay our money, we can say what we like" brigade but the fact is, if Kerr turns out not to be good enough for Hibs its not his fault. Who pushed him in that direction {agent}, who signed him {hibs manager], who sanctioned it

My mate spoke to Sean Lynch last week and he seemed pretty hacked off with life at Easter Road. Apparently Hibs are trying to offload him and allegedly Queen of the South and Nott's County are interested. I've never seen the laddie play but friends who have seen him in the reserves don't rate him anywhere near good enough for the first team at ER

he is as good as Chisholm & Kerr ... he is also alot taller

he is better than both,he has at least the same passing ability but is definitely more aggressive and mobile than these two,the lads due a chance in an area of the park where we are dismal at present

Totally agree Ian.I actually thought he was one of our better players in the first half against Elfsborg (it wasnt the hardest competition to win) but one small mistake and the laddie is crucified whereas someone like Shiels is applauded for trying.totally bizarre.

I think Kerr is much like Obrien...lacking in confidence big time. He'll never be Kevin Thomson or Scott Brown but he could do a job for Hibs given half a chance by the loud mouth phannies who cheer him off the fucking park.

Well said, the growing amount of abuse dished out at our own players is a disgrace and does F all to help things.

Finally some people who think along the same lines as me. It's shocking that people would boo him off the park when hes had so little match time. It's not fair on the guy and is NOT going to help boost his confidence at all. Like O'Brian give him a break and a chance, and aslong as hes trying there is no need to jeer him off the park!

Incidentally, I would never boo any Hibs player who was getting substituted no matter how poorly I rate them. I really don`t see what good it can do.

Exactly as Bampotto said...the Derby first game of the season he looked like he was going to be a good player for us...then we played Motherwell and he decided to drop in form for the rest of the season and hes still shite now.
