Just picked up 2,300 Swedish Kroner for £200.03 from No 1 Currency Exchange on the Royal Mile/top of Cockburn Street - best rate I could find anywhere. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the ATM rates (and how long it lasts

I'm going to get mine changed at Marks and Spencer's, apparently they dont take a commision.

Was just about to post this,went to the place on Ferry Rd by chance on the way home.

Cheque center,there's one on Great Junction St too

Got mine today from M&S, not quite as good a rate as the OP got but close, and commission free as well.

Not a bad rate if you are able to swing by the High Street.

Marks and Sparks are doing 11.2 (approx) commission free.

You may be able to get the same rate from Cheque Centres - surprised that they have it in stock but they seem to have some connection to No 1 Currency:

I printed off the online price check at the Post Office and took it to Thomas Cook at Straiton, who took my screen print and duly gave me my Kroners at the higher rate........if only thy'd read the smallprint that it was conditional on changing £350+..................still £20 up.........

I reckon the auld boot in the shop was a Jambo at the wind up,she knew exactly what i was wanting.......

When i took them back i ordered £500 worth to be collected today but accidentally on purpose ended up going to the branch at Waverly market instead for £250 worth
