I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned the article that appeared in some of today's papers (can't find a link at the mo').

Basically Rangers & Celtic are ganging up on everyone else and saying that they want a cut of ticket sales for their away games!!
They claim that as their staff do the work selling tickets on behalf of the other teams, they should get paid for that "service".

They really are living in cloud cuckoo land. Rangers and Celtc visits to ER are a liability given that they drive away Hibs fans from attending AND almost always bring the TV

Saw in one of the papers that they want 5% for admin costs. Why not just add that to the ticket price for these games and make sure everybody knows who is to blame.

Didn't we get charged extra at the PBS last year? I think I paid over £30.

And if we give them the entire South Stand they are not in comparable seats.

We cannot charge them any more than a walk up price for the Famous Five stand.

And the reason we paid increased prices at the pbs last year was the Gorgie walk ups were priced at £27 and £33 for the corresponding seats in the Roseburn.

Just tell them tae GTF and keep the Dunbar end for oorselves.

The other option is to charge them the 5% charge for someone taking the tickets through to Ipox.

A tidy wee sum could be made here for the cabbage.

We don't need them. It's as simple as that. The days of them bringing ten-twelve thousand through here are long gone, happily. I'd give them no tickets for the first games at ER and see how we get on. Hertz too, money grabbing bastards.

Im all in favour of telling them to gtf but as someone who enjoys the "banter" of following Hibs away to the OF, if we give them no tickets will they not just do the same to us ?

The ideal solution might be to give them 250 seats in the east stand surrounded by hibbies and let them see how they like the wagon train surrounded by indians atmosphere we face when we go through there.

do they not have a scheme at both OF clubs where fans can buy away St's or a travel club thingy. The away stand at M'well has reserved stickers on some seats and im sure they are seats booked by OF fans.Anyway,is it that much of a chore for their ticket office to sell tickets,im pretty sure that is what it is meant to do.We should ask for 5% of gates in glasgow when we go through then or even better a return to the days when gates were split 50/50,i can see them going for that.........

Funny how the 2 deadly rivals can come together when money is involved. fecking parasites.
