I’d be very surprised to be honest.
Katey left Hibs under very weird circumstances. There is no doubt that he was a ‘Hibs Hero’ of the time, coming through via Hutchie etc etc.... playing for the club he grew up supporting.......He and his folks were Hibs fans and the future looked rosy for him at Hibs, particularly when Tony M gave him the captains armband. It seemed a match made in heaven.
Then a mixture of John Collins taking an instant dislike to Katey, combined with the poisonous effect of Jackshun and McCock led him astray……..

Shame really that a young lad who grew up a Hibby is now reviled as a snake. Not the first, probably not the last, but certainly one of the biggest.
I understand that Rodders himself drove Katey to the Hun sign-on deal, and expressed some sadness that things had turned out as they had. Maybe Rodders has a spark of humanity buried deep in that beancounting husk after all. I’m sure the mustachioed maestro extracted the maximum moolah from the Orcs but I doubt that a ‘sell-on’ was included. Remember that at this point the Retard was still selling them (the twins) as a package for two or three million so Rodders probably played a blinder to get the deal he did.

I hope Katey leaves the Hun sooner rather than later. For several reasons.

For his age, I always thought he was a very classy player at ER.

Pretty much proved it with his performances in Europe with the scum.

Wouldn't be hard to find posts with me slagging him to bits but the past 18 months have mellowed me somewhat. As he's under 24 is there not some thingy thing that means all his former clubs are compensated for their time and effort nurturing him?

Also, isn't it magic that run of the mill english clubs are able to wave a wad of cash at the old firm and the old firm can't refuse the offers. Extra special it's our former manager doing it.

I believe that's only if they leave on a 'Bosman' under the age of 24.
