Season Tickets - Disabled Concession.

Owing to the fact that I have Pancreatic Cancer, I was unsure as to whether
or not not renew my ST for next season. I mulled it over for a few days and
eventually my family talked me into it. On looking through the renewal
paperwork I noticed there's a number to call for Disabled ST holders, so I gave
them a bell. Turns out that I can keep my seat in the East Stand, put my
muckers name down as my Carer, and guess what ? The price comes crashing
down to £100.00 each, that's over £500.00 saved between the two of us !
Now thats a fantastic deal in anyones book.

We went down to renew last week, and it's right enough, I renewed it there on
the spot, before they changed their minds ! So if your a disabled fan and
looking for a concession get yourself down and renew. All you need to do is
take a copy of your DLA (Disablement living allowance) and bobs your uncle.

Fantastic deal, well done the hibees

That's great you decided to renew mate! I'm unsure myself if I'm gonna get a season ticket next season. I had a friends for the second half of the season as he went away to Canada for a year and was kind enough to let me use it. Being back was at times very uncomfortable for me but at the same time the joy of being at easter road after such a long absence was great.

All the best with the battle buddy.

Re: Season Tickets - Disabled Concession.

Just had a call from a gadgie at the ticket office telling me that im due them another £40

To cut a long story short, the folks decided to renew their season tickets via the payment plan...again.I didn't have the cash to pay for mine up-front before the payment plan deadline so i put it on hold until i did.So i went online a couple of weeks later, clicked a couple of buttons and my renewal went through for £130...excellent.So the guy phones today and tells me that because i didn't renew with my dad and co i wasn't entitled to this family ticket price that they offer in the West.To say im fucked off is a bit of an understatement.4th season in these seats and ive done the same thing every year while renewing. The rest of the family takes out the payment plan and i pay up-front.So why the hell do i not qualify? Sitting in the same seats beside the same 3 folk with the same last name and have been doing so for 4 years.

Fuck you Hibs

Seems a bit harsh.

Try speaking to the people at the ticket office. You never know they might be more accomodationg when you talk face to face.

Stress that you attend as a family and say you thought Hibs were a family club. A bit of emtional blackmail never does any harm.

Good luck.

Hibs are top drawer when it comes to helping disabled S/T holders/fans in my experience dude, especially the ticket office.
Hope the new East stand will have access.

Na, they've got their £40.Not got the time to fanny around arguing with them got exams and all that at the moment. So getting into Easter Road is a bit of a non-starter.Judging by his reaction on the phone it seems as if im not the only one to have been caught out by this apparent new 'policy'.

If theres any guys on here in the same boat, make your mouth go.

Aye just like I said mate, it's £100 as opposed to £355, that's a hell of a difference to your pocket, you get on the blower to them .
the number for disabled supporters is 0131 656 7066.
Good luck with that guys
