How Good Is Beuzelin?

Hi Guys - Coventry Fan coming in peace! Strong rumours here that we are looking to sign Beuzelin and I was wondering how good you think he is and what type of player he is? Is he very injury prone?

On his day he can be the best player on the park by miles but i would say he is a bit injury prone after he hurt his knee

Re: How Good Is Beuzelin?

A very creative midfielder who is excellent at holding on to the ball and can pass it a bit. He’s also not afraid to mix it and isn’t easily bullied on the park.
On his day he is both creative and entertaining. However he has missed many games here through injury – whether that makes him ‘injury prone’ I’m not sure – maybe he has had an unlucky spell.

My only slight criticism of him when he is playing is that sometimes he scorns the easy pass to go for the spectacular which is almost impossible to carry off – and usually doesn’t. I’d be happy to see him stay here, but would wish him well if he decides to join you.

Oh. One last thing.

He is very prone to dodgy haircuts

For the avoidance of doubt, anything stated in the above post is written without prejudice; is probably completely uninformed opinion, and possibly just a figment of my imagination. Beuzelin gave the best midfield performance I have seen this season last week.

Looks like he is 'being sent to Coventry' oan a three year deal. Fùcking steal getting him for £0.00.

Not the type of player that the Sky Blues will need to help in a promotion push/relegation battle, technically good but doesn't do it on anything like a consistent enough basis (personally I think he's too good for your mob).

Re: How Good Is Beuzelin?

How many games did he miss this season through injury? A handful or over 10? Seems some concern at our end that we are signing a 29 year old who is injury prone to a 3 year contract.

Re: How Good Is Beuzelin?

Hibs have played 44 (pre-season, league and cups ???) games so far this season. Boozy, a first pick I would suggest, has played in 26.

Suspensions, injury and probably another couple of reasons for the 18 not played.

He's shite. Tell your manager to look elsewhere and we'll keep a hold of Boozy. Just for old times sake, you understand.

Re: How Good Is Beuzelin?

Ashbyjan

as you see boozy has quite a few fans here and a few detractors.

he can look disinterested in some games

In others he'll fight hard and be man of the match.french temprament maybe

the original injury to hisknee was gotten going for a 50/50 ball agains dunfermline a couple of years ago and i think that kept him off for about 6-9 months

since then he has had a few other knocks but hes brave at going in and the fans up here dont like pat a cake stuff!

My view is he has outgrown us and he probably would thrive on a bigger stage

How much do you think he would earn at Coventry?

Re: How Good Is Beuzelin?

How much he would earn is hard to say but our current top earners are in the £8 - 10k a week bracket - not that any of them are worth it! Our new owners have fairly deep pockets and have pledged to cut the numbers of our squad from the ridiculous 39 at present to 24, so less quantity and more quality and the wages spread around fewer players.

Thanks to all who have replied and good luck in your last game - if you win can you still make EUFA cup?
