So much for the hibby ref. Positive discrimination at its worst

Canning got sent off for a second bookable offence which was no worse than Hartleys second bookable offence [for which he got a warning].

Celtic players were committing fouls all over the park which were ignored. 50/50 decisions went the way of the lesser greens.

If thats a Hibby he ought to be ashamed. Mibbe there is an SPL edict. The season has to go to the wire if possible so dont do anything to endanger that.

Referee was a cock imo

Agreed Dub. Robson and Hartley shouldn't have finished the game. Caldwell and his elbows was also getting on my tits.

There was no way we were getting any decision today after what happened at Ibrox yesterday.

Re: So much for the hibby ref. Positive discrimination at its worst

he's a shitebag like Mccurrie yesterday. Took the easy option to send off cannon while letting that homo hartley away with it. Scottish football is an embarrasment these days when you see some of the decisions made this weekend. How the fuck can outsiders see our league see us as a threat when you u've got clearly biased c*nts refereeing.

He's about the best there is I'm afraid folks, him and John Underhill. Both retire at the end of the season I think?

I couldn't argue with the sendings off too much though Hartley should have gone too. Is it time for professional, or dare I say it, foreign referees in Scotland?

Our two defo deserved to go. In all honesty I think if Hartley went it would have been a tad harsh.

Aye he was ok apart from no sending off Hartley.

I think he looked at the Murray tackle as an opportunity on goal and the fact he axed him down with no intent to win the ball so it was a straight red card.

He wasn't that bad to be honest. Hartley was lucky that Shiels carried on running after that swipe as if he'd gone down it would really have tested the ref's bottle. But everyone seems to have overlooked Murray committing a half-nelson on Caldwell in the box in the second half. When I saw the replay I thought that was a clear penalty.

Re: So much for the hibby ref. Positive discrimination at its worst

It's not the ref's that are bottling it, it's the non-OF clubs. This weighted form of refereeing has gone on for years and years. It's there for all to see, week in week out.
Until we 'minnow' teams take a serious stand and present FIFA with incidents (like Andy Davis affair at Tynie and the the farce at Ibrox yesterday) it will never change.

A silly but effective solution....

May I suggest that the SPL be split into two Divisions, A and B.
Division A will be for Celtic and Rangers. They will play each other every week and the top two of this Division will qualify for the European Championship.
Division B will be for the rest of the current SPL teams. They will play for
a place in the EUFA Cup.
As I see it the benefit of this set up is threefold.
1) the refs decisions in the Div B can be fair as they will have no adverse effect on the status of the OF.
2) we get to play for a League title i.e Division B.
3) we won't have to put up with the bigot bile ever again

Nonsense.....Canning deserved his second card and Ihun Murray is an animal....but before you all slate me remember that Ihun Murray did Hibs a disservice in getting a straight red as well as he cannot play in your next game.

We were the better team on the day and were worthy of all three points..

Aye right enough.Canning played the fucking ball with his second challenge ya muppet, something Robson and Hartley didn't do all day, did you miss their countless fouls whilst on bookings?

As for Ian Murray, cynical challenge? Yes.Sending off? No fucking danger.Officials are worth at least 20 points a season to both Old Firm teams, the sooner we get full time refs who are held accountable to their actions the better.
