Purple & Green has a spectacular aura about
Hibs will win on Sunday...here's why

It'll help if we wear yellow, seeing as that is what we wore the last time we won at the third team to wear green and white hoops. Only two Celtic teams have won three league championships in a row, and they haven't done it in 30 odd years.

Parallels between our last win there in 2005, and this season.

Rangers and Celtic were challenging for the title and it was a bit close
Celtic had just beaten Rangers, but would lose the league to them.
We were challenging for third, and had a vital game with Motherwell coming up.
A young Irish winger was struggling to establish himself, and came through in this game to silence his doubters weighing in with a goal.

Hibs are 9/1 and if you can get that doubled with Alan O' Brien to score at any time yer laughing. Maybe even a £1 on 3-1.

I think all of the above is true. Maybe.

That's very unusual, can't remember the last time that happened.

I think we'll get something out of the game, more likely to be one point than three though. Keep it going until the last game, that's all we can ask.

we can't wear the yellow strip until next season surely?

I think we'll get a point. Just hope that other results go our way as well.

Re: Hibs will win on Sunday...here's why

was confident we would at least come away with a point till i just read that mccann is injured again and THIERRY GATHUESSI is back as mixu was happy with jones and canning against the huns and does not want to risk hogg so canning will stay centre half instead of filling in on the right which he has done a few times and wasnt bad.

Oh dear. But if McCann's injured then maybe Mixu has no alternative? Also, I think playing Murray at left back is a complete waste, it's his weakest postion (though he still does a job).

Was McCann not the player who came out during the week and said hes the player to stop McGeady

I was extremely confident until i heard the news just today that Gattusi a player to me doesn't look anything like a defender and more like a striker is going to be playing which dissapoints me as he hasn't been that good in the past months...

Hanlon a player who i rate extremely highly should be playing after his midweek performance that people where telling me about that he strolled through and looked the real deal.

Re: Hibs will win on Sunday...here's why

To be fair to Thierry, he did do ok against McGeady when we beat them 3-2 at Easter Road.

Still rather have anybody but him though. Crazy kamikaze nutjob that he is.

Quietly confident about tomorrow, even if Gathuessi plays.Out the traps quickly and don't give them time to settle into a game. With Rangers winning today i expect a cagey atmosphere and if we can start well that'll just unsettle the weegie hordes even more.

The same Gatthuessi that had a good run of games and performances before his last three of four in a Hibs strip. I make 8 or 9 games decent run then. Look at both side of the coin FFS.

He did indeed K. & scored a cracker against celtc.
If he does play i hope Mixu tells him to get forward as much as he can & keep McGeady on the back foot.
