Song Idea - We'll Never Die

another song idea nicked from another team i'm afraid, but was thinking that Man United's 'We'll never die' song, to the tune of Oh Christmas Tree, could work well with Hibs. Could just copy their chorus (swapping 'Red flag' for 'Green flag', and 'Man United' for 'Hibernian' obviously) or could swap the lyrics round a bit so would be

what do we think? simple, easy to remember, pro-hibs, no mention of rival teams. lovely

Id like to hear everyone singing "when I was young my daddy to me down to ER...."en masse.Big roars for the Hibernian part.Reckon there'd be few phlegm covered backs trying to get the HUH bit at the start but would be worth it.

10/10 mate good idea of a song fits in with the right circumstances with mercer and that if we could try get people holding flags up singing it be great but i wouldnt hold out too much hope with our support easter road is always depressing nowadays but try spread this song to all hibees out there to try sing along and then it would sound good especially whole stadium singing it before old firm games and of course the jambos 10/10

1) there's been 'green flag' songs before

2) does anybody ever seriously try and sing these songs invented on websites

3) you should surely swap round lines 4 and 5

Tried to get songs going in the past but everyone seems to prefer 'Hail Hail' or our other most frequent song 'We Are Hiber.....'

We really need to get a group of people together in the terracing and start a song together and it might catch on.
