If you've been watching the Hun post-match coverage...

Seems as if its a forgone conclusion that we're going to lose to Celtic at the weekend...well according to the panal and Mark Mcghee.

In McGhee's interview he said,

'We win against Aberdeen and we're third.Hibs will lose to Celtic and Dundee Utd will lose to Rangers'.

Fucking disrespectful prick

Re: If you've been watching the Hun post-match coverage...

Rangers to win on Saturday would do me then crank up the pressure on Celtc and later that afternoon for Aberdeen to win or draw against Motherwell. If it goes to the last day of the season where any team out of the four are needing a win to finish third i would be more than confident a noisy ER would push our team over the finishing line. McGhee is trying to shift the pressure that has built up on his team given they were in the best position to finish third. To my mind he is a worried man that they are going to end up with nothing but plaudits for the football they played up till O'Donnells death and their wonky pitch.

Re: If you've been watching the Hun post-match coverage...

Hope we go out, get atleast a point against the tims, they lose, and we take 3rd from right under them. The thing that annoys me most is how every media panel in scotland would rather it was motherwell than us that DU. Not due to football, but because of the tragic death of Phil O'Donnell. Don't get me wrong, it is an awful thing to happen, but to give credit to one of three teams due to it is rather unfair and disrespectful

And if we get a point then we can still take it to the last game of the season, assuming Rangers beat Motherwell in the reverse. Imagine winning third by goal difference. Thats a sickener.

I do believe we'll need that point btw.

But even if we don't and Well v Dons is a draw as long as neither beat the old firm a win for us v well is enough , the point wouldn't really change anything would it ?

Re: If you've been watching the Hun post-match coverage...

We're still really depending on other teams doing us a favour, never a good situation. I can see Motherwell beating Aberdeen on Saturday as the Dons are almost as bad an away side as Hibs. It will be tough going for Hibs at Parkhead on Sunday with them needing to win to heap the pressure on Rangers. A point there would be a massive bonus for us. I just hope we are in a position where we need to beat Motherwell in the last game as I would fancy us to win that one.
