I'd have to say big Maka really fond of the big fella Mcneil is a good shot stopper but when it comes to having a presence i would say Maka e.g coming for corners with his height

i feel that overall that with maka's height and presence he is a much more safer option plus we get to sing da da da da makalambay

Maka just because I like to have a big keeper commanding his area.

McNeil deserves to stay in the now tho as he's be fantastic recently.

maka is a great keeper in the making. i agree that mcneil should stay in just now, but Maka will get his game again and be stronger for it. today katy blasted a shot just wide which mcneil dove for, but his reactions and his reach left a 4 foot gap at the inside post. maka would have had it covered.

I think that what makes McNeil a decent keeper is the fact that although he isn't the tallest, he has lightning quick reactions.

There are at least six other positions we need to strengthen before even thinking about replacing these two decent goalkeepers

What alot of pish, Maka was playing well before he got injured.

He'll be a great keeper soon, and he's a better one already than McNeil IMO.

I voted McNeil as he has recently been excellent. I like the fact that he has rebuilt his confidence after making some errors last season after begin thrown to the wolves due to our terrible older keepes. I also like how he accepted Maka coming in and becoming no1 without complaining, even when Maka made some errors, and just worked hard on improving his own game.

Makalamby has the obvious advantage of being massive and because of this will probably be number 1 just about. To be hoonest I don't think there is a lot between them and I hope that they both get games next season and push each other to improve.

I really think having decent goalkeepers has made a huge difference this year. Imagine how well we could have done if we had had a goalie under Mowbray!!! Actually probably best not to bother.

However, technical ability is but one (albeit very important) aspect of the position. Makalambay clearly has his own strengths.

Andy needed someone to put pressure on him at the end of last season.[Zibi was never gonna do it!]
Maka arrived & despite one or two mistakes, made the position his.
Since his[Maka] injury ,Andy McNeil has played really really well & deserves his place at the moment.

Big change from Malkowski & Brown

think maka has the potential to be a great keeper but until he uses proper goalkeeping technics we should stick with mcneil he may not command his box as well as the big man but his concentration exceeds makas IMOH
