Just seen the HI footage of the game on saturday.

Thierry's sending off was totally unforgivable, plain stupidity and I am not sticking up for him, infact i'd like to see him GTF.

This is how i seen it. At the time of the 1st booking, Deano is trying to act as peace keeper, calming Theirry down, speaking to the ref etc. Then Theirry opens his trap again, sees red. Deano walks away in disbelief. Theirry stays where he is continuing to argue with the ref. Boozy has to come over and pull him away.

Where was Rob Jones in all this???

Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations but i'd be looking for the Hibs Captain to be getting involved. Sticking up for his player (whilst respecting the ref), giving his player a good kick up the backside, slapped in to place and told get on with the game.

I couldnt see Rob Jones anywhere near this incident. 12 + months ago Jones would be getting involved in everything. Mind him picking benji up of the floor at aberdeen???? IMO his head is not at ER and he doesnt give a toss - as such he can GTF as well.

Hogg + Canning would be my choice at centre back with Murray infront of them in midfield.

Maybe he knew what was coming. When Mascherano got carded v MU recently the Liverpool players including catain SG, were there but then saw what was coming and gave up trying to appeal to him and the ref.
Plus Gatheussi is shite anyway.

Maybe Tam McCourt should have sorted it out? Thierry is old enough and experienced enough to know better. The fact that he evidently doesn't know better speaks volumes. I don't think Jonesy has anything to do with it.
