[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] has all the competitive games but no friendlies

[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] used to have more friendlies, but seems to be dead these days.

This a pretty good wee site for friendly [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] between Scottish & English teams.

You can do an Edit / Find to look for what you want, makes it a bit easier.

Try

[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]

it's a huge database based site that may take some time to wade through and pick the correct filter options, but as it holds all european cup/CWC/UEFA stats it will all be there.. it even shows all the knockout trees and group sections with scores (although no named scorers) no friendlies though.

It holds all internationals too.

whoever keeps it up-to-date must have a lot of time on his hands, or he needs to get a life.

Re: Hibs Stats

A large section of the historical statistical information in the pages on the official site was lifted from my work on masshibsteria, without credit. Naughty old official site. There's also I suspect a large amount of the work of Lugton in there too.

Cheers for that. I'm just reading Paul Mcgrath's book the now (horrible childhood + man utd + alcoholism + self loathing + villa + more alcoholism + ireland + suicide attempt + comeback = really pretty good read). In it he's full of self doubt and nerves about starting for Villa, thinking it will take 7/8 games to settle down and win over the fans. He makes his debut against Hibs though and gets off to a flyer, winning over the fans instantly.

What gets me is that I had a feeling this game ended up 4-4 or something, obviously not that great for a centre back. That site says it was 1-0 to villa. Did we play West Ham around the same time? Alan Sneddon testimonial possibly? I definitely remember a high scoring game against an English team that wore claret and blue in the early 90's.

Pretty sure that was the highly valued Abercromby Cup mate against Villa.Think your right about the details too...I recall a 4-4 game against AV.did Wee ginger baws not run out for Hibs that night?

Sounds like the Alan Sneddon testimonial which took place just a few weeks before the Skol Cup final of 1991. I'm sure Hibs won the game - 4-2 or 4-3 (?) with Keith Wright scoring all four for Hibs and having several of them put on a plate for him by Hibs star for the day - Kenny Dalglish.
