Im actually sick of our away form. We seem to be a different team, a consistant team. Once again Deano gives us the lead then we lose a goal right after it. Gathuessi is a fanny 2 stupid penalties given away in 2 games.

Mixu should take some of the blame because in my opinion his formation does not work away from easter road, especially against teams like aberdeen who pack their midfield. Beuzelin is left sitting but with no help or "dig" around him. Rankin, Shiels and Morais can all be good on the ball but when we dont have it they are insignifficant most of the time. They occasionally get stuck in but lack any real strength in the tackle. Beuzelin is also not really the type of player to get stuck in. We seem to always lose a midfield battle.

Todays game was lost in different circumstances, but lost nevertheless, as Gathuessi's stupidity cost us dear. Then Nish added salt to the wounds. We lost a game we really should have won. We have everything to play for and Aberdeen have nothing. Absolute pish.

Hibs have been a very poor away team for a good number of years now.

This is the main reason we are not going to finish comfortably in third place. At Easter Road we don't lose very often, but away from home we seldom score, and we rarely win. It takes a different kind of approach and a strong mentality to win regularly away from home and the current Hibs squad are quite some way short of what is required to achieve this.

Our away form must improve significantly if we are going to put in a decent challenge for honours next season..

I'd play a solid "no flair" 4-4-2 away from home - shut up shop and play for nil-nils, then once we've lost about 2 in ten start introducing the ball players again.
